The solid colors are one color at birth. The red and brown will have lighter and darker shades of the base color. When you look at the pictures you will see some change starting on the face of some of the kids in the pictures.

There are subtle differences in the grays such as lighter ears, darker legs, darker back stripes, legs stripes, we’ suggesting that if you are breeding for gray are you accidentally get lucky and get one record any thing in the birth coat that does not make the a solid colored goat.
